The playgrounds are already there—in neighborhoods everywhere. Most families keep going to the same few. The rest sit quiet on weekday afternoons until someone discovers them on a map. That is why we made The Playground App.

Regular maps weren't built to surface playgrounds, so families end up hunting and guessing.

The Playground App is free. No account required. Parents open it, find a playground they have'nt tried, and go. We map almost a million playgrounds worldwide, with playground data in your town and neighborhood—wherever families open the app, there is a playground nearby to find. The app is the map; the point is what happens when families have a better one.

The Playground App started with two people who know each other from church. Lisa, a mother of five, could not find enough new places for her kids to play. Kathleen, a grandmother (Nana) of four who builds apps, had the skill to fix it. We are a small team. When you sponsor, you are putting your name on something people use where they live.

You choose the area you care about. Your business appears with recognition in that area when families browse the app—think park-bench plaque, not a flashing strip along the edge of the screen. When a parent shares a playground with a friend or drops it in a group chat, your name travels with that share. That is parents recommending a place to go, with your name next to it.

The next time someone nearby notices your business, it might be because you helped them find where to take their kids last Saturday—not because of a coupon in the mail.
